Because St. Giles Parish makes a significant financial investment in our school, St. Giles School charges a two-tiered tuition rate. Contributing Parishioner families will benefit from a tuition subsidy of approximately $1,300 per child from the parish for the 2010-2011 school year. The following requirements must be met in order to receive the Contributing Parishioner discount:

1. According to School Board Bylaws, the definition of Contributing Parishioner Families are those who,

i) have at least one Catholic parent/guardian, ii) are registered in the parish, and iii) whose children

attending St. Giles School is/are baptized; AND

2. Those who maintain active participation in parish life, i.e., attendance at Sunday liturgies, and the

modeling of good stewardship through the sharing of time, talent and treasure with the parish community

including regular average contributions to Sunday offerings of at least $10.00 per week for families with

one student, and at least $15.00 per week for families with more than one student attending

St. Giles School.

Lunch Supervision Fee – Grades 1-8

Wrap Pack (school and room supplies)

Grades K-3 -	$60.00
Grades 4-8 -	are given a detailed supply list for summer purchase.

Homeroom Fee – Pre 3- grade 8 - $10.00 / child

Technology Fee – Grades 1-8 - $125.00

This fee assists with purchase of technology equipment to enhance the educational experience in the two computer labs, classrooms, and wireless campus. Also supports infrastructure maintenance and professional support fees.

Financial Aid for 2011-2012 School Year
St. Giles uses FACTS Management Company to help manage tuition payments and financial aid. St. Giles offers financial assistance to continuing families with students(s) in kindergarten through eighth grade. Applications can be submitted from Jan-May online through Facts Tuition Aid. The School Board makes final determination of tuition assistance amounts.
