Kindergarten 100: This month we will be working on counting and sorting as well as mouse skills with a project called 100 things I love. The children will have to drop and drag, and size 100 symbols in kidspiration. They will count (by tens and ones) sort the symbols on their paper. We will continue with mouse skills, and keyboarding by making a name square towards the end of the month.
First Grade: The first grade will be using "The Important Book" by Margaret Wise Brown as a springboard to create their own work "The Important Thing About Valentine's Day". We will take a day off to investigate Valentine's Day resources on the internet, and then we will move on to Dr. Seuss. We will make our own classroom book based on "Oh, The Places You'll Go!".
