We will focus on the following Beatitudes this year.

 
  • Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
  • Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of rightenousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
  • Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.  Third Trimester

 

 
  • Congratulations to Aedan Prouty, for his exemplary performance     geobee320x320.jpg
at the Illinois State Geography Bee on Friday March 30th.
Aedan placed 15th out of a field of 100!   St. Giles is so very proud of you Aedan!
 

 
The Council of Catholic Bishops have put together a useful document that goes over the changes in the Mass.  Please Please review the changes with your student.  Mrs. Bailey sent a link to the Bishops' document, I've posted the link on the Links and Resources page.  Thank you.

We have been discussing  "Learning Styles", and thinking "Metacognatively" 
I have asked the students to "Go Meta", and to think about "how" they think.
Ask your student "how" they learn best!
