Classroom Announcements
week of February 13:
In 7A math, after the test Monday on chapter 8.1-8.4, we will continue with congruent polygons and transformation of figures in the coordinate plane.
In 7B math, we will take a test on the first half of chapter 7 (Tuesday or Wednesday) and then continue with percent of change problems, using the percent equation, and simple probability.
In 8th grade language arts, students will work on finishing and editing and revising their short stories. We will have a test on sentences with infinitive phrases mid-week, probably Wednesday.
In 8A math, we have started quadratic equations and functions. Do you remember the quadratic formula?
In 8B math, we are working on alsolute-value equations and inequalities. After a test on the first half of chapter 6 (probably Thursday), we will move on to graphing linear inequalities in two variables.
