Weather Procedures
​​​​Always assume the meeting is on unless notified otherwise. If unsure, call the coach. 50% of rainout cancellations
are made on site. The Oak Park Park District Rain hotline is 708-524-0273​. All teams will play in rain unless closed by the park or decided by referee.


2011-12 Athletic Schedule
Posted under "INTERSCHOLASTIC CALENDAR"

To access the master schedule
  1. Type in the St. Giles school web address http://www.stgilesschool.org/SitePages/Home.aspx
  2. Click "Calendar" on the left side of the page
  3. Now click "Interscholastic" 
  4. A window will open with a calendar which you will find the various meetings present on each day
How to read the schedule
  1. Choose the month by clicking the arrows
  2. FInd the date you are looking for
  3. Click on the event
  4. Time of the meeting/event is listed first
  5. Followed by the grade and the sport
  6. Followed by type of meeting (Practice or game opponent)
  7. Then the location on the meeting is listed (Basketball and volleyball practices will all be at St. Giles)
Schedule changes procedure
  1. In the event of the change, the meeting will not be removed from the calendar
  2. The action will be listed at the beginning of the event (i.e. **CANCELLED** or **ADDED GAME/PRACTICE**)
  3. You may enroll to receive an automatic email alert for schedule changes when clicking the email icon on the page
  4. The coach will still notify the participant/parent of the schedule change
  5. If time allows, we may also make a school announcement and/or post on the interscholastic website
*Please note that "squadding" is an internal team mechanism utilized by the coach to maximize the experience for all the participants. Squads may be changed, modified and/or cancelled at any time due to the status of the team and its' players. For this reason, squads cannot be posted on the athletic calendar and will be distributed by the coach prior to the start of the first squadded game. ALL squadding questions must be directed to the coach.​
