Thursday Math Homework:

The students were asked to identify coins in their own wallet (or another family members-WITH PERMISSION!!) On a sheet of paper, they should record how many pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters were inside. They will share their findings with the class tomorrow!

Script and Play:

This week, we’ve been reading a folktale written in a script form. We’ve been learning about characters, setting, and how to read a script for a play.

The students began to write their own script for a play they created with their reading groups, and will present tomorrow afternoon in our classroom! The students are allowed to bring in props and costumes for their presentation. However, students have to come to school in their regular uniforms, and change back into their uniforms after they present (if they chose to bring a costume-COSTUMES/PROPS ARE COMPLETELY OPTIONAL!!!!)

Living Wax Museum Update

With the possibility of losing school time this week, the students will bring home their fact sheets to work on their papers for Living Wax Museum. They will also bring home their facts card that has their speech on it, which they are working on memorizing this week!

Please keep working on poster and costume at home! 🙂
