About Frederick Anderson

Bienvenidos! I am SeƱor Anderson and I will be the Spanish teacher at St. Giles for the 2017-2018 school year! I grew up in San Diego, California where I learned to love swimming in the ocean, being outdoors, playing soccer, eating Mexican food, and learning Spanish. When I was in high school I began my dream of teaching Spanish. During my senior year of high school I decided I would like to have the opportunity to experience living in another region of the United States and that is how I came to Chicago. I studied Spanish at North Park University where I was able to expand my knowledge of Spanish culture and the Spanish language. Being a North Park University student allowed me to live in Ecuador where I was able to use my Spanish on a daily basis. I am very excited for this opportunity to teach Spanish. It is my hope to inspire students to learn and embrace the Spanish language.
