This class will explore the important foundational techniques of ceramics. Using multiple methods, students will create unique works of art and even functional pottery pieces! This class covers skills such as wedging and handbuilding with small tools, surface decor and painting techniques, and the science behind ceramics. Please note each piece requires two kiln firings at our studio so there is a time delay for projects for pick up.

All materials (clay & glazes) and associated costs (clay recycling, kiln firings, and glaze firings) included in the cost of the class.
