Wednesday, September 29
6th - 8th Grade Obstacle Course

Thursday, September 30
PreK - 5th Grades Fun Run

How it works

Students solicit pledges and donations for minutes they’ll complete in the upcoming obstacle course (September 29 for 6th-8th graders) and fun run (September 30 for PreK-5th graders). Boosterthon is our fundraising partner and helps us operate all aspects of Lion’s Leap. You’ll find everything you need to know on – the online hub for collecting donations and tracking progress.

Once you register your Lions, they can begin soliciting donations from friends and family based on a per-minute pledge or lump-sum donations (which will automatically be converted into per minute).

Make your future self proud today!

Our Lions will travel the world and meet 5 real kid-athletes who play with character. They will learn about how to play with curiosity, confidence, humility, practice and endurance through mini-documentaries that highlight these kid-athletes.

Boosterthon will provide daily prizes for registering online and subsequently getting pledges of different levels. Teachers will be offering nightly challenges to students to help encourage them to solicit donations!

Frequently Asked Questions

Lion’s Leap is a runathon/walkathon for younger students and an obstacle course for middle schoolers. Families are asked to consider making a significant donation and/or to solicit pledges from friends, neighbors and family members to support their participation and help the school. Preschool through 5th grade students run/walk for 35 minutes outside around the block or in the gym due to inclement weather.

The event kicked off with our virtual Pep Rally on Monday, September 20th and will be reinforced everyday in the classroom with teachers and Development staff through Thursday, September 30.  Boosterthon will provide daily prizes for registering online and subsequently getting pledges of different levels. Teachers will be offering nightly challenges to students to help encourage them to solicit donations!
