Your Support Matters
Tuition at St. Giles School covers about 85% of the cost to educate a child and we rely on the generosity of our parish and donors to help close the gap. Supporting our fundraising initiatives makes our mission - to provide a rigorous, Catholic education that instills leadership and builds community - possible.
Take the Next Step
There are many ways to make a gift, from an outright gift or pledge made online, to planned giving programs and gift matching opportunities.
When you give to St. Giles, you’ll make an impact on the students and on our community. Your gift today is an investment for the future.
St. Giles School celebrates and supports our school community through our annual Black and Gold Pride gala. This special night of food, drinks and fun is a parent favorite and raises significant funds to support our program.
Your employer may match your donation with dollar-for-dollar matching.
The Story of Mr. Henry
Mr. Phillip Henry is well known around St. Giles, particularly at the corner of Berkshire and Columbian. That’s because, every day, Mr. Henry greets students and families and walks them carefully from corner to corner before and after school. Our resident crossing guard, however, has a deeper connection to our school than many know. He credits St. Giles — and specifically it’s tuition assistance program — as “an answer to my prayer.”
Mr. Henry’s grandson, Jordan Wheeler, received tuition assistance to make attending St. Giles school a reality. Mr. Henry had been praying for a way to make Catholic school possible for Jordan when Mrs. Poetzel, former St. Giles principal, offered financial aid and asked Mr. Henry to volunteer as a crossing guard.
Mr. Henry credits St. Giles with providing Jordan with an education and foundation that set him up for the future he wanted: attending college. “St. Giles has values and rules,” he says. “The teachers are caring people.”
Thanks to our tuition assistance program, Jordan received the education he needed for the future he wanted. And Mr. Henry, who has continued to serve as crossing guard after Jordan’s graduation in 2012, is a reminder of the power of prayer and the power of generosity.
