Faith Focus: In Prayer we talk to God

We talk to those we love,

We talk to God.

We pray in different ways

We will be able to join in spontaneous prayer as a response to God’s presence

Language Arts:

Question of the week: What kind of Bugs do you know about?

Vocabulary words: curious, observe, attaches, process, slender

Phonics Review: /m/,  /a/, /s/, /p/, /t/Handwriting: Mm, Aa, Ss, Pp, Tt

High-Frequency Words: the, a, see, we, like

Comprehension: Ask and Answer questions about key details.

Grammar Verb an action word

Math:

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order. Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted.

The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted

Life science / form and function

Kindergartners will compare fiction and non fiction texts about how spiders build their webs

How are they alike and how are different Explain that one is fiction and the magazine is nonfiction
