Math – Place Value
Students have been learning about Regrouping 10 Ones to Make 1 Ten. Regrouping requires students to be able to take apart a number and write it in a new way. They’ve also had to apply this concept to answer word problems
Next Week – Creating a Table to Solve Problems, Writing Numbers to 100 in Different Ways, Identifying Numbers that are 10 More & 10 Less
Language Arts
Phonics – Ending –es and Plural –es (fixes, wishes, etc.) and Words with r-Conrolled vowel o (more, short, etc.)
Next Week – -ed & -ing endings; r-conrolled vowel a (cart, spark, for example)
Sight Words (aka High-Frequency Words/Word Wall Words) – away, car, friends, house, our school, very

Grammar – Verbs That Do Not Add -s at the End (“pack” and “load”, for example, tell what two or more people, animals, or things do now.)
