REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK:

This week is Peace Week.

Wednesday- All School Mass

Spelling- There will be Spelling this week. For the remaining of the school year there will be one spelling list per week aligned with the novel we are reading in class. We will be starting The Hundred Dresses, so you will find the words on Spelling City under The Hundred Dresses-Test Two-this week. The words of the week are: rescue, defend, console, custom, forbid, admire, target, unison, beam, aisle, bully, dull, velvet, distant, fringe, oath. Practice words every night as Spelling is an important part in your child’s learning.

Reading-Our class will continue to read The Hundred Dresses in class. Please bring in post-its to help with actively reading the novel too.

Language Arts- Our class will be learning about adjectives and adverbs.

Math- Our class will be concluding our study of division this week. Students completed a study guide in class on Friday, and their test will be on Tuesday. Please review and keep classwork that is sent home. Students should be expected to answer multiplication questions as well. Example: 2 x 6= ___. Practice multiplication cards.

Science- Both third grades will be learning about living things.
