Dear St. Giles Families,
Welcome back to another fantastic year at St. Giles School! This will be my 3rd year teaching at St. Giles School and I am looking forward to all the excitement that a new school year brings.
It is a blessing to be part of the St. Giles Faculty and I am excited to be spending time in my classroom (the gym!) getting to know all the students and their fabulous personalities. Be sure to check out my page from time to time to find out what is going on in the gym and how your child is staying active during the school day.
This past summer we were blessed with an opportunity to spend a week hiking in Shenandoah National Park where we spent almost everyday in Big Meadows picnic area along with about ten million butterflies. I also spent time trying to grow a new type of sunflower (pictured here) in my garden despite all the rain that kept pounding away at all my little seedlings!
This fall as I return to school, so does my family. My husband, Ed Draper will return for his 2nd year at Calumet College in the biology department and my daughter, Madeline, will return as a Sophomore at Depauw University (go tigers!) majoring in Biology.
I truly believe God has placed me at St. Giles to guide and love your children. I am looking forward to another amazing year and wish many blessings to everyone.
Smiles, Ms. Wenzel
P.S. As it says in they gym – “Where the Wild Things Are….in the gym with Ms. Wenzel. Let the Wild Rumpus Begin!
