I enjoyed getting to know the kids and seeing their enthusiasm about the Spanish language.
We spend some time reviewing our greetings, vocabulary, grammar, and culture.
2015-2016 is going to be a great year!

HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: September 15 – October 15
National Hispanic Heritage Month is “the period that we recognize the contributions
of Hispanic Americans to the United States and to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture.”
5th grade: Will be making a flag for a a Spanish speaking country
They will include five interesting facts about the country
Flag project is due on 9-15-015
6th grade: Write an essay on a Famous Hispanic/Latino Artist
Such as, Pablo Picasso, Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo
Essay is due on 9-17-15
7th & 8th grade: THE GREAT HISPANIC HERITAGE
They will write a research paper on a famous Hispanic of the past or present
Research paper due on 10-05-15
