Good morning! As a reminder, I will be posting assignments daily only for those classes that would normally be scheduled for that day. K-2nd grade will only receive ONE assignment per week. 3rd-8th Grade will receive TWO assignments per week. I will also be posting supplemental material this weekend (which will NOT be counted for a grade) in case you would like additional practice ?
For 7th and 8th grade, I have also set up a google classroom, BUT I will post on my webpage when those assignments are due with further instructions.
Here are assignments for those students that have Spanish class on Thursday ? When you have completed the assignments, please either scan or take a picture of the completed worksheet(s) and email it back to me so I can continue to update powerschool.
5th Grade (Room 107) & 5th Grade (Room 109)
- Identify the pictures on the right by writing the correct vocabulary word (you may reference your notes). Then let’s practice writing complete sentences in Spanish by following the example on the worksheet ? Email me with any questions.
- Also, in case you missed the first assignment for the week, I am reposting it.
“Let’s practice possessive adjectives! Print out the worksheet and follow the directions. For the first section, you will translate from Spanish to English. For the middle section, you will write the correct possessive adjective according to the noun. Remember, if the noun is singular, your possessive adjective must also be singular. If the noun is plural, your possessive adjective must also be plural (ex. Mi libro vs Mis libros). And for the third part of the worksheet, you will translate from English to Spanish, using the correct possessive adjectives.”
Remember: my – Mi(s), your – Tu(s), His/Her – Su(s)“
8th Grade (Room 201)
- We were originally going to have our quiz on Chapter 3 verbs at the beginning of this week, but given the circumstances, I pushed it back. I have created flashcards to help you study. Follow this link to help you practice! I have also posted the quizlet on google classroom for 7th and 8th grade. Good luck!
7th Grade (Group C)
- Print out the conjugation sheet for regular -ar, -ir, and -er verbs. None of these verbs are stem-changing verbs so the only thing you need to do is change the ending based on the subject pronoun. You will also use the quizlet to help you study for the quiz next week. You can also find the quizlet in your google classroom.
Kindergarten (Room 101) & 1st Grade (Room 104) – Let’s practice writing! Print out a worksheet and practice writing these places around town.
(Cine – Movie Theater, Tienda – Store, Parque – Park, Banco – Bank, Escuela – School)
