An Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rain fall soft on your fields, and until we meet again, May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.
E-Learning has officially kicked off at St. Giles. A kind parent emailed me yesterday, asking how their student should begin this important process, and the first thing I advised them to do, was log on to their student’s teacher webpages and see what their hard-working teacher has shared for the day. It is my understanding that e-Learning activities and assignments will be posted daily and are listed under homework. Also, I heard that assignments are to be submitted to the teacher’s school email or in Google Docs. Additionally, teachers will available for questions and concerns from 9:00-2:00. Feel free to email them directly. We are all here to make these days of uncertainty a smooth and peaceful one for you. Please know, that remote learning is new to the St. Gile’s community. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility.
By the way, if your looking for some St. Patrick’s Day fun, may I suggest giving the ever popular Pinterest a whirl. I saw an adorable rainbow display made with a variety of colorful cut up fruit for the bows, marshmallows for the clouds, and foiled chocolates as the pot of gold. It looked simply delicious and would be a wonder at a family party today.
Take good care,
