Good Morning Second Graders –
The backchannelchat.com went well on Friday morning, so WE ARE GOING TO SET UP ANOTHER BACKCHANNELCHAT.COM on Tuesday, 3/31 at 11:00! I am reminding students/families early to get as many students as possible!
Please check the below link to check the specials teacher’s web pages and weekly assignments. If you have questions for them, please reach out to them directly. Thanks.
Writing – Write/journal about your weekend. You can just write about one thing that you did and draw a picture.
Reading/Science – Click on below link, go to Week 1, and read about Animal Studies – Spiders, and complete any learning activities associated with the stories. You should be able to do most of the activities – I do not have a specific code, so skip the items you are not able to access. If you already completed the Rabbit – Animals Studies section – that is ok too!
Spelling – The Spelling practice this week will be done on spellingcity.com. You will not have worksheets! You can work on online learning activities with your spelling words this week. Clink the link below for the spelling list and learning activities. You can only do the “free” activities as I do not have a premium membership. You can click on “games” then “free” to complete fun online learning activities with your spelling words. Click on the Unit 5 Week 3 List 1 spelling word lists this week. Enjoy!
Math – Complete lesson 3 in your math book – Problem Solving (pages 605-610). Take a picture of your homework pages and email them to me for a math grade.**
Vocabulary – Complete the below worksheet about multiple meaning words.
Language Arts – Complete the page on below link You can print it or write it on a piece of paper.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me so love.
Where there is injury pardon
Where there is doubt faith
Where there is despair hope
Where there is darkness light and
Where there is sadness joy.
Oh divine master grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life, Amen.
