Comprehension Strategy – Previewing
Next Week – There will be no new spelling, phonics, comprehension, or high-frequency words covered. We will spend a few days reviewing and then take our Unit 2 Benchmark Test.
We began talking about Advent this week in religion.
Social Studies – We will be going to see The Nutcracker on the 9th. The main character, Clara, lives in Germany. Dancers from far away places like China, Spain, Russia, etc. come to dance for Clara so we spent some time looking for these places on maps and on a globe.
