Religion: We will continue our study the liturgical calendar. We will identify the seasons, holy days, and the colors of the church year. We will also review the meaning of Advent and the symbolism of the Advent wreath in preparation for Advent. There will be a quiz on Friday.
6th Grade Math:
We will review converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions in simplest form. There will be a quiz on making these conversions on Tuesday.
We will begin chapter 4: Fractions, Decimals, and Percents. We will model percentages on a hundredths grid and write the percent as a fraction in simplest form. Then we will convert fractions to percents.
We will work on i-Ready lessons on Thursday. Please remember to bring headphones to class.
7th Grade Math: We will review writing and solving proportions. Then we will review the first five lessons of chapter 3: ratios/rates, slope, proportions, writing proportions, and solving proportions in preparation for our quiz on Wednesday. Then we will begin lesson 3.6 – converting measures between the customary and metric systems.
We will work on i-Ready lessons on Friday. Please remember to bring headphones to class.
