Religion: We will continue working in unit 2 in our Family Life series: God’s Gift of Self. Students will recognize and appreciate themselves as a person of integrity and virtue. They will also earn “Self-Discovery” tools to help them discover who God is calling them to be.
Valentine’s Day: Students are invited to bring a Valentine card for each of their classmates on Friday if they so desire. Please only write your name on the card to make for easy distribution.
6th Grade Math: We will create and interpret data from various types of graphs: line plot, histogram, stem-and-leaf plot, and a box-and-whisker plot.
7th Grade Math: We will use scale drawings to find missing measurements. We will also describe and draw the three types of geometric transformations: translation, rotation, and reflection. Students will create a tessellation. Next week there will be a test on chapter 5.
i-Ready: Students will work on their assigned i-Ready lessons each week. They must have a pair of headphones at school in order to work on these lessons
Safety Patrol: This week Adam and Lorenzo are on patrol.
- Students should only wear gym shoes on gym days.
- Hats are not to be worn in the building.
- Students may not wear nail polish.
