Religion: We will continue working chapter 5: Slavery and Deliverance. We will learn that just as God saved the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, Jesus’ death and resurrection freed us from sin and gave us everlasting life. There will be a test on chapter 5 on Friday.
Olweus Class Meeting: We will focus on the third rule against bullying: We will try and help students that are left out. We will brainstorm ways we can help.
6th Grade Math: We will begin division of a decimal by a whole number. Then we will divide decimals by decimals. There will be a test on chapter 3 next week.
Many students continue struggle with the multiplication facts. Please help them master these facts.
We will work on i-Ready lessons on Thursday. Please remember to bring headphones to class.
7th Grade Math: We will begin chapter 3: Proportions and Variations. We will calculate rates, unit rates, and speed. We will graph proportional relationships and identify the slope of the line. We will work on i-Ready lessons on Friday. Please remember to bring headphones to class.
i-Ready: Students will work on their assigned i-Ready lessons each week. They must have a pair of headphones at school in order to work on these lessons

Halloween: Many thanks to our room parents, volunteers, and to all who sent in snacks for a wonderful Halloween Party! The treats were delicious and the games were fun!
