Lion’s Leap: Despite the rainy day we had a great Lion’s Leap! Thank you for all of your hard work and generous donations! Our homeroom raised the most money in the Middle School – $4945!
Religion: We will learn about the conversion of St. Paul. Then we will review the story of Isaac and Rebecca and their two sons, Esau and Jacob. We will also review story of Noah and the conversion of St. Paul. We will discuss how the story of Saul to Paul reveals the power of our Lord. We will identify ways that we show we are committed to following Jesus. There will be a test on chapter 3 on Friday.
i-Ready: Students will work on their assigned i-Ready lessons each week. They must have a pair of headphones at school in order to work on these lessons.
6th Grade Math: We will continue working in chapter 2. We will multiply mixed numbers and fractions. Students must know the multiplications facts in order to be successful in mathematics. Please study these facts. There will be a quiz on lessons 2.1-2.4 on Thursday. We will begin division of fractions with models and then move to the algorithm.
7th Grade Math: We will review adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers. There will be a quiz on lessons 2.1-2.3 on Wednesday. Then we will solve equations using the inverse operations of addition and subtraction.
